Audio Recording Equipment

You can record the audio of an event by using a Smith College portable podcast kit, available for checkout from the Center for Media Production. The kit includes an Edirol R-09 (a small, portable WAV/MP3 recorder) and may be borrowed by registered users of the CMP.

You can record video for vodcasts (video podcasts) by using video production gear, available for checkout by registered users of the Center for Media Production.

The Center for Media Production also provides a spacious 24' x 28' video studio with 15' ceiling and lighting grid, camera, microphones, camera mixer/switcher, and floor lighting.
