NEILSON LIBRARY
The Neilson Library is located off
of Green Street in the center of the Smith College campus. See campus map.
YOUNG SCIENCE LIBRARY
The entrance to Young Science Library
is located within Bass Hall in the center of the Smith College campus,
behind Neilson Library. See campus map.
HILLYER ART LIBRARY
The Hillyer Art Library is housed
in the Brown Fine Arts Center on Elm Street at Bedford Terrace. See

JOSTEN PERFORMING ARTS LIBRARY
The Josten Library is located in the
Mendenhall Center for the Performing Arts off of Green Street. See
campus map.
MORTIMER RARE BOOK ROOM
The Mortimer Rare Book Room is located
on the 3rd floor North of Neilson Library. Follow the directions to Neilson
Library, then take the stairs or elevator located in the central core
area of Neilson up to the 3rd floor and head right (north). See

SOPHIA SMITH COLLECTION
The Sophia Smith Collection is located
in the Alumnae Gymnasium which is adjacent and connected to Neilson Library.
There is limited direct access to the Alumnae Gym, and full wheelchair
accessibility through Neilson. Enter Neilson's main entrance, take the
stairs or elevator down one flight to A level, turn left and follow signs
to the south end of the building, and take the glass walkway across to
the Alumnae Gym. See campus

COLLEGE ARCHIVES
The College Archives shares space
with the Sophia Smith Collection and is located in the Alumnae Gymasium,
which is adjacent and connected to Neilson Library. There is limited direct
access to the Alumnae Gym, and full wheelchair accessibility through Neilson.

FIVE COLLEGE LIBRARY DEPOSITORY
The Five College Library Depository
(FCLD) is a high density storage facility for the lesser-used materials
from the libraries of Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke
College, Smith College, and University of Massachusetts Amherst.

PARKING
- Parking in campus lots and the
Smith College Parking Garage is restricted on weekdays until 5:00 p.m.
Blue-lined visitor parking spaces are marked on all levels of the garage. Visitors may park on the streets surrounding the campus during business
hours.
- Metered and unmetered parking
is available on Elm Street, Green Street, Round Hill Road, Henshaw Avenue,
Prospect Street, and other city streets close to Smith and Clarke School
campuses.
- After 5:00 p.m., and until 1:00
a.m., visitors may park in any white or blue-lined space on campus or
in the Smith College Parking Garage, located at 42 West Street.
- There are also several public
parking lots and a covered parking garage in downtown Northampton within
10 to 15 minute walk of the Smith College campus. Parking in these facilities
is inexpensive and plentiful. The garage and largest lots are located
between Pleasant and Old South Streets.
