COLLECTIONS

		Summer Reading 2008: Native Guard Natasha Trethewey’s poems explore family, memory, and race through the vehicle of one of the first black regiments in the South during the Civil War.

		Welcome Transfers and All Entering Students! New student orientation is Mon. 9/1 at 1, 2, & 3pm, and Tues. 9/2 at 10 & 11am. Adas meet Tues. 9/2 at 9am & 3pm. Meet in the Neilson Browsing Room.

EXHIBITS

		Inspired Design: The Mentoring Stamp An exhibition of bookbindings is on display in the Book Arts Gallery, 3rd floor Neilson Library. Exhibition runs through Dec. 20, 2008.

OTHER

		Discover the Information Commons! New study spaces and multimedia workstations for individual and group work are available in Neilson Library, level 1.

		Libraries' Hours Reduced This Week Mon.-Fri. Neilson & Young are open 8-5, Hillyer 9-4, Josten 10-4. Sat.-Mon. Neilson is open 10-5 Labor Day weekend, branches are closed.
