you arrive at your placement, be sure to ask whether your agency has
its own library or whether it can arrange library privileges for you
at an area library. If not, then use the listing(s) below to identify
area libraries and their policies regarding access and borrowing.
Note that all policies described below are subject to change.

Smith may be able to negotiate a lower fee (via a letter of introduction),
but the number of books you may borrow at a time will also be reduced.

For borrowing, you may purchase a courtesy card for $200/6 months or
$400/year. For the 6-month card, you will need a letter of introduction.

for a letter of introduction from the Smith College Libraries. The letter
will include your address, local phone number and social security number,
so please provide these when you contact her. No letter is required
for the year-long card. Neither card offers interlibrary loan privileges
or access to restricted databases.
