Important reminder for Smith College School for Social Work students: When you arrive at your placement, be sure to ask whether your agency has its own library or whether it can arrange library privileges for you at an area library. If not, then use the listing(s) below to identify area libraries and their policies regarding access and borrowing. Note that all policies described below are subject to change.

You are welcome to use the collection. You may obtain borrowing privileges by presenting a picture ID that includes your social security number and current street address. You will not be eligible to use the interlibrary loan service.

CINCINNATI AREA

You are welcome to use the collection. To obtain borrowing privileges, apply for a library card at the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. That card enables you to apply for a Greater Cincinnati Library Consortium (GCLC) card at University of Cincinnati. Note that Langsam Library restricts access after 6:00 p.m. to U.C. faculty, staff, and students. You will not be eligible for interlibrary loan services.
