Important reminder for Smith College School for Social Work students: When you arrive at your placement, be sure to ask whether your agency has its own library or whether it can arrange library privileges for you at an area library. If not, then use the listing(s) below to identify area libraries and their policies regarding access and borrowing. Note that all policies described below are subject to change. American
University You are welcome to use the collection. To obtain borrowing privileges, you may purchase an associate borrower's card for $100/3 months or $300/year. You will not be eligible to use the interlibrary loan service.
You are welcome to use the collection. To obtain borrowing privileges, you will need a letter of introduction from the Smith College Libraries; please contact Pamela Skinner (pskinner@smith.edu) for this letter. The letter will include your address, local phone number, and social security number, so please provide these when you contact her. By requesting this letter, you accept full responsibility for any fines or damages/loss fees incurred. You will not be eligible to use the interlibrary loan service.
You are welcome to use the collection, but must show a photo ID at entrance. To obtain borrowing privileges (maximum of 6 books at any one time), you may purchase special borrower privileges for $50/year. You will not be eligible to use the interlibrary loan service.
