The Plagiarism Challenge may be taken by any student enrolled in a Smith College writing intensive class. Take the quiz on your own – or when asked to do so by your instructor. You may take the quiz as many times as you like to get a perfect grade – and to review the correct answers to each question. This ten-question quiz will help you learn when you must give credit to others’ words and ideas – and also when this is not necessary. The quiz is excerpted from a larger exercise developed by Holly Davis of the Smith College Jacobson Center. The Information Literacy Team thanks Holly for permission to use this quiz as a part of the Smith College Information Literacy Program. QUESTIONS Please direct all questions to Bruce Sajdak, Chair, Information Literacy Team, (413)585-2967, bsajdak@email.smith.edu.
