Self-service photocopiers are available in each library. See the links below for more information:

COPYRIGHT POLICY

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Patrons using self-service equipment are liable for any infringement. Patrons will not be permitted to make photocopies or other reproductions of library materials if making the reproductions may cause damage to the materials.

COSTS

• $.10 per copy for 8.5" x 11" and 8.5" x 14" copies
• $.20 per copy for 11" x 17" copies
• Use coins/bills, a Smith OneCard, a guest Campus Cash card, or a Copico copy card
• Visitors may purchase a guest card at the Campus Cash card machine located in Neilson Library, Level 1 Core ($1 fee for card and additional money added for copies)

COLOR PHOTOCOPIES

• An operator controlled color photocopy machine is available at Smith College Central Services (84 Green Street) between 8 am and 4 pm.
• Copies are $.99 for 8.5" x 11" copies, $1.25 for 8.5" x 14" copies, and $1.50 for 11" x 17" copies

FACULTY PHOTOCOPIERS

Authorized humanities and social sciences faculty may use the photocopier near the Reserve Desk in Neilson Library. For authorization, faculty can obtain an account code from the Provost's Office, College Hall 27.

NEILSON LIBRARY PHOTOCOPIERS

Please report any problems with the photocopiers to the Circulation Desk

YOUNG SCIENCE LIBRARY PHOTOCOPIERS

Please report any problems with the photocopiers to the Service Desk on the 1st floor.
