Renewing Items
3 Ways to Renew Five College Library Materials
You may renew most items 3 times unless the item has been recalled or is on reserve.
- Online, using the Five College Library Catalog and logging in to My Account. Enter your 15 digit barcode number (21018360......) from the back of your Smith OneCard. See My Account & Renewing Items for detailed instructions.
- In person, at any Smith College library circulation desk.

Renewing Books through Interlibrary Loan
- Log into your Interlibrary Loan account.
- On the main menu, scroll down and click on View/Renew Checked Out Items.
- The Interlibrary Loan staff will send you an e-mail with the new due date if the lending library grants a renewal, or will let you know if the lending library refuses the renewal request, in which case the book will be due on its original due date.
