Search the Video/DVD Catalog

Connect to the Five College Library Catalog, and select More on the search menu.
Select DVDs/Videos/Films from the third column of options.
Using either Basic or Advanced search. Type in title search terms to find specific films, then click Go or hit Enter. See Search Tips below for more search strategies.
Search Tip: Use the general keyword or author searches to find works by directors, actors, screenwriters, and cinematographers of interest.
Search Tip: In Advanced search, the Genre search option allows you to retrieve works by film genres such as feature films, documentary films, detective and mystery films, comedy films, and foreign films.
To determine the call number for an item and its availability, click on the library name in the right column of the results list.
Note the call number: you will need this to request the video or DVD at the library service desk.

Use Advanced Search to Limit by Format

Connect to the Five College Library Catalog, and select Advanced on the search menu any search or results page.
Select search options from one or more dropdown menus to enter up to three search terms. Scroll down to the Limits area in the lower part of the screen, click on the Format dropdown menu, and select DVDs, Videos, Films & Slides. Select Language and Location limits if desired, then click Go or hit Enter. See Search Tips below for more search strategies.
