- While
searching bibliographic databases, look for the graphic buttons for
SFX or
within the results display. These buttons will provide an SFX menu of
links to full text journals (online), the library catalog (for print
holdings), and Interlibrary Loan (for journal articles not available
at Smith). Questions? See the SC
Links FAQ.
- You
may also search the Journal
Locator by journal title to find out if your journal is available
online through Smith's subscription databases.
- The
Journal Locator also provides links to print holdings in the Five
College Library Catalog,
which can be searched separately by Journal Title.
- For
journal articles not available at Smith, use the link to
Interlibrary
Loan, on the SFX menu to request electronic delivery of articles.
- For
a list of periodical indexes that contain at least some full text titles,
see Full Text Databases.
- Search
Ulrichsweb.com
or Jake (via
the University of Florida) by journal title to find out where a particular
journal is indexed, and whether or not it is available full text.
