FINDING ARTICLES

Sociological Abstracts 1952+

  1. Use "OR" between synonyms (left-to-right) and "AND" between concepts (up-and-down).
  2. Remember to use the pull down menus to select "Keywords, KW=".
  3. Select "References, RE=" to search references.

PsycInfo 1887+

To search references:

  1. Click on the Cited References link in the green bar.
  2. Enter the information about your article. Remember that the cited title is the article title or book title, not the journal title. Click search.
  3. A list of citations should appear. Depending on how the article was cited by others, it is possible to have several variations of the same article. Select all of the citations that match your article.
  4. Click Find Citing Articles.
