Europe. It is an excellent source for developing a bibliography and verifying

PERIODICAL ARTICLES & OTHER ANALYTICS
Use
indexing and abstracting services to find periodical articles, analytics
of collected works such as Festschriften, conference proceedings,
and anthologies, as well as monographic publications--book, exhibition
catalogs, and other works.
Arts
and Humanities Index
Indexes 1,300 journals covering all arts and humanities disciplines. The
database of almost 2.1 million records includes materials published from
1980 to the present. The only humanities resource that provides citation
searching, i.e. makes it possible for the user to identify publications
citing an author or a specific work. Updated weekly.

Index Retrospective
These two databases cover all aspects of the visual arts, providing cover
to cover indexing of over 400 periodicals published throughout the world.
They provide access to articles, exhibition reviews, and reproductions.
Art Abstracts covers 1984 to the present, Art Index Retrospective
covers 1929 to 1984. Art Abstracts is updated monthly and abstracts
are provided for records added after 1994.

Bibliographie, the subject and alphabetic catalogs of the Deutsches
Archäologisches Institut and the standard bibliography of material
on classical art and archaeology. It provides regular access to over 1,100
journals and series and includes citations to books and essays in Festschriften
and other collections published throughout the world. Hillyer holdings
of the printed index are 1932 to 1993 (Storage Art Periodical Z5132 .A67).
The electronic form covers 1956 to the present and is updated annually.
