The Sophia Smith Collection and College Archives Reading Room is open for research on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and on Wednesday from 1 pm to 9 pm. The exhibit and browsing areas are open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm and until 9 pm on Wednesday.

During the semester, we are also open selected Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. For the specific dates, and our holiday closings, visit the Smith College Libraries Hours page.

Please note that we can only provide limited reference services on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, therefore you should plan your first visit for a weekday if possible.
