PRESERVATION OF LIBRARY MATERIALS AT SMITH

The preservation of materials in the Smith College Libraries consists primarily of general collections repair, library book binding (which includes monographic binding of several types, periodical binding, boxing and brittle book replacement), environmental monitoring and disaster response.
