Sophia Smith Collection and Smith College Archives fellowship recipients for 2014-15 will present colloquia on June 12, June 30, and July 3 at 9 am in the Alumnae Gym.

July 3, 9 am Lauren Kientz Anderson "Speaking to the World:  Black American Women and Global Interracialism, 1918-1939"

All colloquia will be held in the Alumnae Gymnasium.

Sophia Smith Collection and Smith College Archives fellowship recipients for 2014-15, Alicia Peaker, Jessica Lancia and Lauren Kientz Anderson, are presenting colloquia respectively on June 12th, June 30th and July 3rd at 9:00 am in Alumnae Gym. Alicia Peaker, recipient of the 2013-14 Friends of the Smith College Libraries Fellowship will speak about "The Different Way We Tried to Respond: Women, Literature, and the Environment, 1890-1950." Jessica Lancia, Friends of the Smith College Libraries Scholar, will be speaking about "Gloria Steinem:  The Transnational Life of an American Feminist."  Lauren Kientz, this year’s Grierson Scholar, will talk about her project, "Speaking to the World:  Black American Women and Global Interracialism, 1918-1939."
