Kevin Prufer's first two books, Strange Wood and The Finger Bone, earned wide acclaim for their vision and versatility. His most recent volume, Fallen from a Chariot, was named by The Bloomsbury Review among the “Best Books of the Last 25 Years.” Dark Horses: Poets on Overlooked Poems, edited by Prufer and Joy Katz, is an anthology of largely ignored poems chosen by 75 distinguished American poets.
Sarah Manguso's first volume, The Captain Lands in Paradise, was named by the Village Voice as among its 25 favorite books of 2002. Manguso received Princeton’s Hodder Fellowship, a Pushcart Prize, and appeared three times in the Best American Poetry series. In her most recent book, Siste Viator, she borrows and re-imagines fragments of Frank O’Hara, John Berryman and a wandering Zen koan.
