The reading is free, open to the public and wheelchair accessible, and will be followed by a booksale and signing.

A native of Massachusetts who has lived in New York City for many years, Larkin is the author of five books of poems, most recently My Body: New and Selected Poems and the chapbook Legs Tipped with Small Claws.

Larkin also co-founded the independent press Out & Out Books and co-edited a number of groundbreaking poetry anthologies including Amazon Poetry and A Woman Like That: Lesbian and Bisexual Writers Tell Their Coming Out Stories.
