The Fall 2011 Smith College Poetry Center readings kick off with a reading by Jane Hirshfield on Tuesday, October 4, in Wright Hall's Weinstein Auditorium. The event is free, open to the public, and wheel chair accessible.

Hirshfield is the author of seven collections of poetry, most recently Come, Thief (2011) and After (2006).
