Henri Cole
Henri Cole was born in Fukuoka, Japan, and was raised in Virginia. The recipient of many awards, including the prestigious Rome Fellowship in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, he is the author of five collections of verse. Cole is in his last year as Conkling Writer in Residence at Smith.
A reading was presented by the Department of English Language & Literature on Tuesday, November 18, 2003. For more information, read the press release from the Office of College Relations.
