Tuesday, April 10
4:30 pm Readings from Charles Dickens' Novels
Book Arts Gallery, Neilson Level 3

Relax for an hour and listen to passages read aloud from the works of Charles Dickens, one of the most beloved English authors of all time. Members of the faculty, library staff, and students will read their favorite brief passages from a number of Dickens' novels. Listen to the adventures of members of the Pickwick Club; hear Dickens' description of "implacable November weather" in London; laugh out loud as David Copperfield entertains guests at dinner. This also is the final week to view "Charles Dickens at 200," an exhibition of Dickens' works from the Mortimer Rare Book Room. Refreshments will be served.
