Annie Boutelle, poet and Smith College English faculty
The Smith College Poetry Center sponsors a reading by Annie Boutelle, faculty member in the English Department and founder of the Poetry Center. Ms. Boutelle will also discuss her work and the craft of writing in an informal Q&A session in the afternoon.

Boutelle has two brilliant books of poems just out: Nest of Thistles, winner of the 2005 Samuel French Morse Poetry Prize; and Becoming Bone, which probes the inner life of Celia Thaxter, one of 19th-century America's most popular poets.
