SSC Contributes Content to "The Abolitionists"

PBS has created an interactive map featuring images, documents, and video from various archives, libraries, and museums for its upcoming "American Experience" series.

Sophia Smith Collection intern Arielle Petrovich has done excellent work researching describing, and uploading content to the interactive map. There are about 15 items from the SSC up so far (we won't tell you what exactly so you can explore the map yourselves).  She will be continuing to select and upload content for the next few weeks. 

An app for the iPhone/iPad, is due out in a couple of weeks.

The series, The Abolitionists will air on PBS on January 8, 2013.
