Who We Are

Here is a snapshot of our membership:

The Friends of the Smith College Libraries is a non-profit organization whose members provide financial and in-kind support for the Libraries. Our members are mostly Smith alumnae but include some parents, faculty and a number of un-affiliated Friends who simply love our resources. Alumnae classes range from 1934 to 2012. Nearly half of our members are from New England, the rest live across the country with a strong contingent in California (55.)  We have 28 really long distance members: in Africa, Europe and Asia, including one in Mongolia.
