Global Engagement Seminar

Led by Smith faculty, Global Engagement Seminars bring students off campus to explore interdisciplinary topics for several weeks during the summer.  Students also participate in internships immediately following the seminars.  These experiences are designed to give students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience related to the subject explored during the seminars.

Students receiving Praxis grants to support these internships must complete two documents:

• The Global Engagement Seminar Pre-Departure Praxis Application (PDF)
• Internship Confirmation Materials (PDF). 
  

The deadline for the Pre-Departure Praxis Application is March 16, 2013.

The GES Praxis Internship Confirmation is to be completed in country once your internship is secured.  Internship Confirmation Materials must be emailed or faxed no later than June 7, 2013
