The Smith College Lazarus Center takes part in several career fairs and interview days to help introduce students to a larger, more varied employer base. Employers that do not recruit on campus will often participate in these events.

Don't miss the opportunity to meet with representatives from numerous New England sport teams and entertainment companies on Tuesday, April 12. This is a great networking opportunity, that comes with a ticket to see the Red Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles. The fourth annual Sports & Entertainment Career Fair offers career opportunities for eager professionals and current college students looking to break into the Sport & Entertainment Industry. The $25 registration fee includes admission to the career fair and a ticket to the Red Sox vs. Orioles game at 7:10pm. Dress code is business professional. Please bring copies of your resume and business cards (if available).

Massachusetts Educational Recruiting Consortium (MERC) Career Fair and Orientation*
Thursday, April 21, 2016, 9:30am-3:30pm
Northeastern University Cabot Gym, Boston 
MERC is a group of New England colleges and universities offering degrees in education at the Bachelor's and Master's level. All Smith students are invited to the annual career fair, whether majoring in education or seeking certification, although the event website indicates this as required for admission. To view the employers attending the fair and speed your entry on the 21st, please pre-register on the MERC website and download your admission ticket. Employers will continue to register until the fair, so check the website periodically.

Those interested in MERC should attend a brief orientation to hear more about the event, learn how to get the most out of a career fair, and arrange carpooling.
