The Smith College Lazarus Center takes part in several career fairs and interview days to help introduce students to a larger, more varied employer base. Employers that do not recruit on campus will often participate in these events.

Smith College Fall Career Fair

UMass Amherst Engineering, Sciences & Technology Career Fair
Wednesday, September 30, 2015, 10:00am-3:00pm
Campus Center Lower Level
Meet employers and learn about their full-time career opportunities and internships and co-ops. For all technical majors, all level students, first year to graduate level. Professional dress is required.

Massachusetts Green Career Conference
Thursday, October 1, 2015
Marlborough, MA
This conference connects stakeholders from government, education, business and nonprofits and people interested in green careers to advance sustainable development. REGISTRATION includes full access to all conference amenities and features:  exhibits, speaker sessions, keynote, coaching, breakfast, lunch, networking, roundtable discussions, FREE book raffle, FREE parking, and FREE wifi.  

Liberal Arts Recruiting Connection (LARC)
Fall Resume Collection Deadline: Sunday, October 4, 2015
Internship and full-time positions. Employers will schedule interviews directly with students. Students will be notified of their need to travel to on-site interviews

The Liberal Arts Recruiting Connection (LARC) is a combination Career Fair and Interview Day that affords employers the opportunity to meet and interview students from eight highly selective liberal arts colleges.

UMass Amherst Career Blast

Campus Center Lower Level
The largest on-campus career fair in Western Massachusetts, featuring over 150 employers who have internships, co-ops or full-time positions. Open to all majors, all level students. Professional dress is required.

The Fair at Wellesley College
February 2016
The Fair combines the former Not-for-Profit & Public Service Fair and the Wellesley Women in Science Job & Internship Fair and welcomes for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations in all industries as well as government agencies. Business casual attire is required.

Women’s Foreign Policy Group MENTORING FAIR
February 2016
The program provides an opportunity to speak informally with senior-level international affairs experts about the skills required to break into the global job market and hear valuable advice and guidance regarding career planning and internships. The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as young professionals. Sectors include international development, NGOs, human rights, international law, international health, international business, diplomatic service, the UN, and communications. This year the event will be cosponsored by and held at New York University.

SSW Virtual Resume Collection
The School for Social Work Virtual Resume Collection will offer organizations the ability to promote opportunities to graduating SSW students and collect applications through our online portal, E-Access.
