A FESTIVAL OF DISORDER

Spring 2009

PUBLIC PRESENTATION: Joy Harjo, A Map to the Next World
Award-winning poet, singer-songwriter, saxophonist, and creative writing teacher Joy Harjo, a member of the Mvskoke (Creek) Nation, presents an evening of poetry and music centered around her book A Map to the Next World. After the presentation, Ms. Harjo will sign copies of the book at a reception in the Atrium of the Art Museum.

Monday, April 6, 2009, 7:00 pm :: Graham Auditorium, Hillyer Hall. Free and open to the public.

Student and Faculty Fellows from the Kahn Institute's two 2008-2009 long-term projects share an update on their collaborative work. Student presenters for the morning session (10:45 am to noon) will be:
