Welcome to the Writing Services Offered at the Jacobson Center for Writing, Teaching and Learning.
At the Center, we believe that all writers, at all levels of expertise, can improve their writing. To that end, we offer individual writing conferences with professional Writing Counselors and Peer Writing Assistants, a number of courses designed to enhance writing skills, and a specific program for those writers whose first language is not English. We also have a series of guidelines to help you at various stages of the writing process. Additionally, we’ve provided links to several on-line writing resources, including the Smith College writing handbook, Writing Papers (with corrected documentation guides appended). We hope you’ll explore our services. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
