Wright Hall
In the Wright Computing Center (WCC) students can work with foreign language materials including DVD,
video tapes and CD-ROMs in support of eleven different languages. They can watch news casts and satellite
or cable programming from around the world and practice all four language skills (reading,writing, listening,
and speaking) at any of our Windows or Macintosh workstations. They also have access to SPSS, STATA and
other statistical software and a variety of social science applications and data.
Any student is welcome
to use the computing center for any academic need. This is also the location you would visit to pick
up AV or classroom equipment you reserved via classhelp@smith.edu.

Trained student staff and professional
staff will assist students, faculty and staff with

applications through specialized foreign language
and social science software. Please note that support
for statistical packages is limited

Hours: The WCC is open and staffed during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM
