The Visual Communication Resource Center (VCRC) provides equipment and support
for visual computing, with an emphasis on the capture, editing, and compositing
of visual materials. The Center houses 19 dual-platform (Mac and PC) workstations,
each with a high-resolution graphics display monitor, in addition to scanners
and other peripheral devices.
The VCRC is used for class groups and for individual faculty and student projects.
Before beginning work on a project in the VCRC, faculty members should contact
the VCRC Director to arrange access times. Student projects require a faculty
sponsor, and students should also contact the Director in advance.
Location: The VCRC is located in
Hillyer 218.
Hours: The VCRC is open and staffed
during the following hours:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Mon, Wed, Thurs: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
The VCRC is staffed by student monitors during evening hours.
Contact Information: For further
information, contact Daniel Bridgman, Visual Communication specialist, x3398.
