TECHNOLOGY LEARNING COMMONS

Seelye Hall

The Technology Learning Commons is a cluster of labs and classrooms designed for the development of multimedia projects in support of teaching and learning. The Commons comprises:

• Seelye B3 - Digital Design Studio – Electronic classroom equipped with 16 G5 iMacs

• Seelye B4 - Scanning lab - scanning stations for text and images including document feeders and a large format scanner

• Seelye B8 - Digital Media Lab -workstations for digitizing video and audio, creating QuickTime clips and other digital assets, additional stations include two group workspaces

• Seelye B9 - Project planning space - meeting space with projector for group testing and planning

The Commons is open to all faculty, staff and students, who would like to use digital media in their coursework.

Educational Technology Services professional and student staff are available to assist with project planning, development, and production.


Location: The TLC is located in the basement of Seelye Hall.


Regular Semester Hours (September through mid-May):


Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM
