Websites that Work

For those who have practiced all the basics in web design and for advanced web designers who want to cover what makes a good site, this workshop will contrast award-winning sites with sites that have very questionable elements.  Poor design choices can be avoided.  Using presentation, small group decision making and tasks, and individual hands on activities, we’ll cover navigation guidelines, good web writing, use of colors, page layout, and best use of graphics.  “A good website should feel like a good museum or even someone’s home, where there is a natural flow from one room to the next. And the person guiding you explains the back story as you explore.”---Eric Eggerton, Commonsense PR
