This document explains how to install and use Secure Shell Client, a terminal emulation program that replaces PowerTerm, and Secure File Transfer, a file transfer program that replaces WS-FTP95.
 
Using PowerTerm
PowerTerm is a terminal emulator that allows you to login to a Smith host, such as Bessie or Sophia. PowerTerm will work whether you are using an on-campus networked PC or dialing in from home.
