GoToMeeting WEBINARS
ITS maintains a webinar-specific email address (Student Volunteer Conference, scvconf@smith.edu) and grants access rights to this account to appropriate GoToMeeting users on request.
The scvconf email address receives all account and webinar reminder information, as well as feedback from participants and panelists. If you schedule a GoToMeeting webinar, you will need information that is sent only to the scvconf email address.
Follow the steps below to schedule a webinar using Smith's GoToMeeting account:
- Call the User Support Center at x4487 to complete two preliminary steps:
- Request editing rights for the GoToMeeting Reservations calendar.
You will use the calendar to confirm that the date and time you wish to reserve for your webinar has not already been reserved by another Smith user, then to enter your own reservation.
- Ask for the password you will need to access Smith's online GoToMeeting account and the scvconf email account.
Note that GoToMeeting sends all messages about how to log in to your webinar and other important webinar information to the scvconf account, so you will need to check it periodically.
- Request editing rights for the GoToMeeting Reservations calendar.
- Go to: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/en_US/island/login.tmpl and log in using the information below:
email address: scvconf@email.smith.edu (note that the word email must be included)
password: (provided by the USC)
- After you schedule your webinar, be sure to log in to the svcconf email account periodically to check for messages related to your upcoming webinar.
