Production Equipment Policy

You must sign a Production Equipment Policy before checking out equipment for the semester. By signing this document, you agree to abide by the policy stated below.

I accept responsibility for the equipment I will be using. I understand that if this equipment should become damaged due to negligence while in my use, or lost or stolen while in my possession, I will be responsible for paying the current replacement or repair costs.

I also agree to return this equipment personally when due. If equipment is returned late, is damaged, or is missing components, a fine will be assessed. Late fees will be assessed at $5 per hour (up to $30 per day), beginning at 1pm on the due date.

For damage or missing components, the CMP will charge me what it costs to repair or replace the damaged or missing component. After 2 late returns, my borrowing privileges will be revoked.

Letting anyone else use the equipment signed for by me will result in a loss of my privileges.

Loan periods are as follows:

*Check out: Monday after 2:30 p.m. Due back: Wednesday by 1 p.m.

*Check out: Wednesday after 2:30 p.m. Due back: Friday by 1 p.m.

*Check out: Friday after 2:30 p.m. Due back: Monday by 1 p.m.
