A one-day trip to meet with alumnae and others in one of three career fields: publishing and news media; government and public policy; or arts and entertainment. Bus transportation will be provided.
Applications will be accepted online only, on a first-come basis from Wednesday, November 18, at 9 a.m., until Wednesday, December 2, at 4:30 p.m. Application instructions available at the CDO Web page in E-Access.
Those selected for Career Tracks must submit a non-refundable $25 program fee to the CDO by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4, and are required to attend an orientation meeting on Tuesday, December 8, from noon to 1 p.m. in Campus Center 103-4.

Wednesday, January 13, from 4 to 5 p.m., CDO
This is a good class for seniors and juniors who are either deciding whether to go to grad school or who want to get a jump on the grad school application process. Discussion topics include deciding to apply, the application process, gathering references, distinguishing your application, writing your personal statement, funding and any other questions you may have.
Thursday, January 14, from 3 to 4 p.m., CDO
Whether you're looking for a high-profile paid internship, or a summer job at a camp, this workshop will help you learn about resources, how to apply to opportunities and how to get the most out of the experience.
Tuesday, January 19, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., Seelye 106
This interactive workshop will provide practical and useful information to prepare you for any interview situation. Learn what employers look for in candidates, what questions they ask and how you can most effectively market yourself in an interview.
Seniors planning to attend the Mock Interview Day with alumnae (below), must attend this session, learn the basics and then sign up for the Friday event.
Friday, January 22, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., CDO (priority given to seniors)
Get one-on-one interview practice with alumnae who are real-world interviewers and human resources professionals. Gain valuable pointers on how to present yourself during an interview before you actually have one!
To participate in this event, students must attend "'So, Tell Me About Yourself:' Effective Interviewing Skills" (above), where they will pre-register for this session.
