artstor OIV

The ARTstor OIV is a presentation tool for viewing and presenting images in the classroom. Smith faculty and students may download the ARTstor OIV tool once they have registered as an ARTstor user. STUDENTS: if your professors has an OIV in Moodle, you need to download the OIV tool to your computer.

• Register as an ARTstor user.
• Log in to ARTstor.
• Click on Tools, and select "Download offline presentation tool (OIV).
• Follow directions for installing to your computer.

How to export an individual image from LUNA and add it to ARTstor OIV

• Select an image in LUNA.
• Click on EXPORT
• Choose the highest resolution possible (e.g., 6100 px)
• Wait while the program exports to your default Download area on our computer.
• The download will appear in a .zip folder. The image jpg will be inside the folder.
• Open ARTstor OIV
• Click on Edit, Add a slide
• Select Slide Template, click OK.
• Drag LUNA image jpg into the Image Palatte area of the OIV.
