Disability Services - Section 103

Smith College is committed both philosophically and legally to assuring access to all college programs and services. The college pursues the goal of equal access through proactive institutional planning and barrier removal, as well as through the provision of reasonable and appropriate accommodations to students, staff, and faculty with documented disabilities.

The Office of Disability Services assists students, faculty, and staff with special needs or disabilities. The office coordinates accommodations for employees, including physical modifications, special equipment, sign language interpreters, etc.  Questions about accommodations and services for staff should be directed to the Office of Human Resources or the Director of Disability Services. For more information, go to http://www.smith.edu/ods/ or call (413) 585-2071 (Voice) or (413) 585-2072 (TTY).
