The approximately 885 staff members of Smith College work in 74 different departments. As of 2010, our average length of service at the college is 13.7 years, and about 270 of us have worked at the college for more than 20 years. We are a diverse group: approximately 595 of us are women and 290 of us are men; 98 of us are Asian, African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Pacific Islander or Multiracial.
