SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS WORKSHOP* ----------------------------------------------------
The Sexual Assault Awareness Workshop is designed to raise awareness about sexual assault, sexual harassment, and relationship violence, promoting basic understanding of disciplinary and legal procedures. The workshop also considers the different kinds of pressure women get about sex, various implications of the word "No," the most effective ways to communicate with a date/partner/etc. about sexual expectations, and what would make a woman/man less likely to end up in a difficult situation. The interactive workshop also provides information about how to be an ally, how to help a friend, and provides resources through Smith College, Five Colleges Inc., and the Pioneer Valley.
