   Absence Due to Illness

Illness During Examination Period:

In order to receive consideration for a make-up examination, you must report to Health Services when missing or leaving an exam.

Incomplete Academic Work Due to Illness:

Incomplete academic work resulting from absence due to illness will be excused only if you receive the prior approval of a Health Services provider. Before you return to Smith, remember to provide the Director of Health Services, Dr. Jaffe, with a written statement regarding your illness. Please note: Health Services will not provide medical excuses or notes for missed classes due to illness.
