Drugs are chemicals or substances that change the way the body normally acts. It heals and can help treat diseases if taken correctly. The negative side is if they are taken incorrectly, drugs can do horrible things to all parts of the body such as the central nervous system and the brain. There are three types of drugs: depressants, stimulants and hallucinogens. Depressants make the central nervous system depress and help relieve some pains ffrom the body. Some are very addictive and an example would be alcohol. Stimulants makes the body more excited and changes the mood of the person. Overuse of these can cause depression and an example of this would be caffeine. Hallucinogens causes the body to see things that are not there and alters with the mind. Examples of this are LSD and PCP. Drugs can be helpful to the body but can also mess with it if used in excess.
