By Girls, For Girls- Global Young Women's Health is a 2 week class taught during the Smith College Summer Science and Engineering Program. The course is taught primarily through discussion based lessons in combination with lectures, films, and other activities. In this class, students explore a range of health issues that include body image, STI's, sex trafficking, female circumcision, obstetric fistula, and more.

The course is taught by Dr. Leslie Jaffe, Director of Health Services at Smith College, and assisted by intern Renee Robilliard.
