For individuals wishing to check the local rental market, Northampton's Daily Hampshire Gazette has a classified section with listings of real estate for rent. You may also wish to check the University of Massachusetts' Commuter Services and Housing Resource Center and Smith's Career Development Office Housing Board. It is advisable to begin looking for housing as soon as you have decided to enroll.
