Smith College's beautiful 147-acre campus is set in a
river valley flanked by mountains. The student houses and
administrative buildings, ranging in architectural style
from Gothic to Colonial to modern, lend a distinctive character
not found on most campuses. Though just a five-minute walk
from vibrant downtown Northampton, home to 30,000 people,
the campus, with its towering trees, flower beds, open fields and
scenic Paradise Pond, feels like the countryside.
In addition to the pleasure of residing in such breathtaking
surroundings, the real advantage of being on the Smith campus is the number of facilities
and academic resources available to graduate students studying at Smith
College. |
