Clothesline Project The Clothesline Project is an exhibit intended to break the silence around sexual assault and gender violence. It is a vehicle for people affected by sexual violence to express their emotions or share their stories by decorating shirts, which are then hung on a clothesline. the event is a week long. Mt. Greylock Hike Come join us on a hike up the highest peak in Massachusetts. Clean air and great views! Free. Hiking time is 3 hours+ and leaves campus from Sage hall at 9am, returns by 3pm. *Pack a lunch and full water bottle.

Culture Exhibition"Chinese Wonderland" This is a Chinese cultural event where you get to attend workshops of paper cutting, Peking Opera mask painting and even Martial Arts! All these fun activities are offered by our own Smith students.It is originally designed for local families that have adopted Children from China. But it's also open to public for whoever that is interested in the Chinese culture.Come and find out more in CC103/104, anytime from 11pm to 3pm! My Word: A Documentary Screening and Discussion Diversity Representatives and members of Social Justice and Unity Orgs are invited to view and discuss My Word: A Documentary. My Word was directed and produced by Mercedes Davis and Ari Demasco during the Spring semester of 2009. It highlights the experiences of the diverse Smith community and is meant to serve as a tool for activism on campus. Meet some of the students who produced this documentary, and participate in a discussion that is the first of an ongoing series of workshops on coalitional activism organized by the SGA Diversity Committee. Faculty Recital: Joel Pitchon Free. Talk/Concert/Discussion--The slow mvt. of Schubert's great C Major Cello Quintet has long been a favorite of chamber music lovers. Professor Pitchon will speak about the work, the mvt. will then be performed, followed by a discussion with the audience. The Sophomore Leadership Challenge The Sophomore Leadership Challenge was developed for the sophomore students who are running Smith. Seasonal Flu Vaccine No appointment necessary during these hours. Cost is $20 and must be paid by cash or check at the time of the visit. For questions regarding the Seasonal Flu Vaccine please call the nurses station at extension 2813 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note that seasonal flu vaccine will not protect against H1N1 flu. Once H1N1 vaccine is available, likely in mid October, Health Services will announce distribution plans to the campus.
