The Botanic Garden of Smith College offers donors several unique opportunities for memorials, honorials, or gifts. Using the Landscape Master Plan and the Collections Policy as a guide, the Director prioritizes the needs for the Botanic Garden. We would also like to expand student opportunities for learning through the establishment of internships at other botanical institutions.

Potential memorial opportunities are listed in categories to assist donors in making a selection that they feel is appropriate. The links below contain our policies and opportunities for each category.

Memorial/Honorial donations (not for trees or benches) of less than $5000 may be given to the Friends of the Botanic Garden in the name of a person or group, to be used in support of the Botanic Garden by arrangement with the Director. These will receive mention in our annual donor list, but do not receive a plaque.
