| A faculty information meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 4:15 p.m., Lyman Plant House. The meeting will be in classroom 110 (enter at far left front doorway of Layman Plant House and take glass hallway to the rear). Smith faculty in any discipline are invited to apply for course development support from the Botanic Garden’s Curricular Enhancement Program. The program provides stipends and supplemental course funds to support the development of new or revised courses or portions of courses utilizing the Botanic Garden and its resources. Teaching may revolve around collections in the Lyman Conservatory as well as the Campus Arboretum and outdoor gardens. The application deadline is March 31, 2008, for courses in academic year 2008-2009 or fall 2009. Applicants must meet with the program coordinator prior to submitting an application to learn more about the Botanic Garden resources and to discuss preliminary ideas.
