In this course, site-specific choreography is developed as a collaborative project between students and teacher. The course focuses on developing work for Capen Garden on the Smith campus.

Students work as much as possible in the Garden, paying close attention to changes in the Garden. The course culminates in public performances.

Course funds are used for supplies and for a student artist to make drawings of Capen Garden the previous spring that become part of the choreographic resource.
