With these words Sophia Smith bequeathed the bulk of her fortune to create a women's college that would offer an education equal to that available to men. Today Smith alumnae, parents, spouses, faculty, and friends continue to support Sophias vision with generous gifts that come at the donors death.
You may make a bequest using a will, trust, retirement assets, or life insurance.
Whatever way you choose to include Smith in your estate plans, please let the college know you have done it, so you can become a member of The Grécourt Society.
